Rev Dr Lesly Uys Officiated over our wedding, on Gordons Bay Beach in November 2017.

We met with Lesly to discuss our wedding ceremony and had a practice run on the beach, so that we knew what to expect. She explained everything simply and did not complicate matters.

She was extremely professional and did not even miss a beat, even when the groom forgot the ring in his backpack. Lesly was very charismatic and knew how to handle the guests and keep the ceremony on track. She handled every step of the way, including assisting us with our vows as both of us were quite nervous and I went blank at one stage, but she remained calm and took control with a good sense of humour.

Lesly is a well-groomed, highly intelligent lady and she has a mature and serene demeanour, which is necessary as weddings can sometimes be frantic. She added little details to the ceremony, such as joining our hands and wrapping a long cloth over them, to bind us. The prayer she said over us was also so touching and beautiful.

All in all, it was a wonderful and memorable event, because Lesly made it so. We highly recommend Lesly to officiate over your wedding day. She brings a world of experience, class, and kindness to the ceremony like no one else and I have been to many weddings. She was the best choice for our once in a lifetime day.
